Hi I know this game is kind of old and I'm sorry for all the new gamers out there. I was wondering if any of you ran windows vista 32 bit. I have trouble with tarzan JR. It seems delayed. I even have all my updates installed. I can play it on my friend's XP and it works wonderfully but on here it is very delayed and I end up dying. If anyone can figure this out, I would greatly Appreciate it.
That happens with a lot of older games when you try them on newer operating systems. Either they run really slow or don't run at all. I don't know abou Tarzan JR. since honestly I don't believe I've tried it on my Vista laptop.
Do you have the game?
I do, and it works fine on my windows XP machine. I don't have vista, so can't help you there. I, by the way, have made up to level 8 but then I get killed by the elephants. How do you die? Pits? Animals?
Well slow reaction delay and they kill me.
i've played it on both a windows vista and a windows 7 system, don't have issues with slowness. work just as well as they did on an xp system
Actually, sometimes mine cuts out half of the sounds. It's kind of fun to listen to the monkeys falling into the river when you don't hear the splash, but I like it better when my computer decides to pay attention to the other half. Usually a restart of the program helps me there. Did you ever beat level 1 yet? Level 2?
I have played all the levels but my game with every key press is delayed. I don't know why.
So, you managed to get passed level 1, or did you just select different levels to play by themselves? I was asking about playing the game all the way through.
where does one download this game?
I have played the whole game through. The hardest ones for me are six and seven. I love eight cuz you jump on the elephants. It's awesome. I also love the vine speed round.
Get it at audiogames.net. Just select the tarzan junior choice from the combo box, and you'll get the download. By the way, you have to use the patch, because the game cannot be bought anymore. I don't quite know when to jump; every time I do, the elephant stamps on me. My favorite level is level three, but the alpha monkey is a little stupid, doing the thing to beat him every time. I think that if Philip does what he says he's going to do, he should change that one a bit.
Seemed slower on Windows 7 than on XP.
But remember the game moves slower.
It's written in Javascript so the onKeyUp happens later because it responds to the client on the user side, the browser controls. If it were flash it'd be faster and before you yowl at me it's not accessible, it would be in that case, because you'd be using the sounds just the same ...

when i installed TJr on my XP system, there is no delay and the game is running correctly. and also when i read this board yesterday, i came to know about the patch. and now, see... when i visited the usagamesinteractive sight, it said:
